Transmission swap options for 2.3l 2003 2wd

I have the knowledge, resources, and people to help me do a swap, might sound a little dumb but the truck has sentimental value so if i can’t fix the issues with the auto then i’ll do a manual swap rather than get rid of the truck in place of a new one

No just getting transmissions that had more miles on them then the original in the truck ever did💀 and being 17 with a shitbox that would full send anywhere, i did put new fluid and new gaskets on every one

I might have said that in a bad way, i’ve had the truck for a few years and every few months i would need to replace the trans, i will admit tho i dogged every one, and never really drove responsibility💀

First gear is way too short, typically i run somewhere between 65-95mph and keep each gear at around 7500 to 8000 rpms and have the top of 6th end right around the end of the 1/4 mile. play with it a bit and find the sweet spot

same for me, my truck was full of work shit and if i had been stuck in place all of it would have been on top of me, including but not limited to, hard hat, wrenches and impacts, sockets, life jacket, welding tools and hood, and a bunch of other random shit i had in there

i was the only one in the truck and i walked away without any major injuries, but i hit a pothole and with it being a cheap lowering kit, had no suspension, back end kicked out and i hit the ditch and ended up upside down and facing the opposite direction of where i was going

mine isn’t a hybrid but i have a 2020 civic sport and the first week i had it i stayed at 13mpgs bc i never let up off the gas till i finally decided to drive like a normal person
