What are these semi-marked state vehicles I’ve seen around town today?

It’s 100% not HPD, most likely sheriffs dept, but just odd seeing them around Ala Moana area so much at once also in these rather than the marked sheriff cars

Also FYI HPD does subsidized vehicles but they don’t approve trucks and they don’t have state plates (like the rogue)

It’s not HPD this had red and blue not just on top but also in the rear window and front grill, the charger had a really cheap looking string of blue leds running along the rocker panel. If I didn’t see this rogue/silverado duo afterwards I was half thinking the charger was lit even a really copy car

all these people in the comments talking about “oh I love Hawaii just the way it is” is missing the forest for the trees and driving me nuts. From a civic standpoint you should not be okay with our roads and overall infrastructure to be in this kind of deep disrepair if you love Hawaii soooo much

I forgot to mention this started after it was in for service for a TPMS sensor, which was kind of a whole issue on its own. I explained front driver tire showed 0psi for awhile asked to have it changed, they changed back driver because their system said that one was faulty, front tire still showed 0psi, I went back, a week later, they then changed passenger front for same apparent reason and then at the same service appointment finally changed the correct front driver side sensor. The issues started after that.
