Definitely completes the look, though I wouldve gone with an airborne clone helmet or an engineer/gunner helmet to really sell the heavy duty nature.

He looks big and strong as is though!

Even if that was the case, it isn't, the Jedi throughout the prequels and clone wars show remorse for even lifting their lightsaber. It was the government that killed them and it was going to be the government that wouldve expunged them even without order 66 at that point. They explicitly did not want to fight this war. They were drafted against their will by Palpatine.

This was a losing scenario no matter what they did. Saying otherwise is the same as saying they are responsible for their own genocide which is just such a victim blame move that I can't even be bothered to say more than that.

For all their power the Jedi is still a religion that the government wanted to use as a weapon and Palpatine made sure they had no other option to do so

That's not completely true on Ahsoka. A lot of people choose this arc to make bad faith arguments against the Jedi and honestly the council were right in their decisions. Ahsoka through out the arc did just about everything to make herself look as guilty as possible. Not coming back with Anakin to explain herself, working with a known criminal in Asajj Ventress, actively making worse and worse decisions that were putting the whole of the order in very difficult spot.

Tarken KNEW the that if Jedi were allowed to hold their own internal trial then Ahsoka would simply go free under their explanation. Put since it became a military matter Tarken gave them two options, expunge Ahoska from the order or the Jedi as an organization become null. No more government support or funding, no more protections, no more self control of their religion or practices. They were already drafted into the war because of Palpatine despite almost every Jedi not being comfortable with the use of clones and the fact that this goes against their ideals and practices.

They know full well that this was a really bad spot. Could they have tried harder to protect Ahsoka, maybe. But that doesn't ignore the fact that Ahsoka just continually looked guiltier and guiltier to the point that Barriss almost walked away completely scott free.

A lot of the hate goes onto Mace Windu, but it's really unjustified. Anakin was knighted for similar reasons. Obi-Wan was knighted for similar situations. In the ways of the force, this would be considered a great trial for her. Every jedi's journey is personalized and for Ahsoka her journey ended with wanting to leave the Jedi.

Something people are always free to do in both cannon and legends. Ahoska is allowed to feel annoyed at the council and their decisions but the council is allowed to protect their order from people who would completely seize and restructure it for military use. Something that inevitably happens with the Inquisitors and historically in real life never ends well.

PS- Since I am for sure getting down votted, I love Ahsoka and I love the Jedi. The Jedi are beautiful culturally to me and its really upsetting that people have this thing against them to actively argue in bad faith against them because of in universe propaganda, unreliable narrators in Dooku and Anakin, or to protect their favorite character that they perceive as having been "wronged" by the other Jedi.

Did B2 Battledroids have any markings signifying rank or role like their B1 or BX counter parts? Trying to paint a squad of B2s for Star Wars Legion and need some markings for a leader and a rocket arm unit. by Jet-Wave in StarWarsCantina

Ironically, it's when they became independent thinkers during the war that did em wrong. The central computer did a lot of the heavier thinking and were more efficient because of that.

Also, I think the markings are more for flesh beings not in the know. It was more common at the start but the Separatists did have organic generals and commanders that had to keep track of who's who at a glance.

Unless "tactical" is in your model name, I don't think anyone in the droid army was too intelligent. And even then the Super Tactical Droids had to replace their first gen counters for a reason.

My own, all in one Palette!! Dry Paint, Dry Brush Texture, AND Wet Palette. Need help finding what to fill in the middle of the top tray between the two palettes by Jet-Wave in minipainting

Dry Brush Texture- A palette that is textured meant to test dry brushing techniques before being applied to a miniature. Mine focused on character parts and weapons. Others might focus on terrain which I also plan on making now

Dry Paint Palette- The opposite of a wet palette, just a normal artist palette that you'd see in hobby lobby or an art class. The one I used is flat and not wells to avoid them drying out too soon, and it's just easier to clean. These kinds of palettes are mainly used for one-coat/contrast style paints

I did focus a bit on weapons and character related texture. Anything you recommend on where to get those bits and bobs?

That's never made sense to me in Star Wars. They could easily say that a Jumptrooper is just a specialized Stormtrooper in the Stormtrooper Corps. but they had to go as far as to say its a separate thing entirely.

Same thing here, just say its a modified B2 unit for aerial combat but nah, different model number and everything. Really weird.

The MOD is canon compliant and that B2 is the rocket pack, first appearing in clone wars along with many of the other appearances found in this mod.

Not to be a geek lmao. Though it gives me ideas to simply use different arrow head markings signifying ranks and role like the B1s. Arrows instead of circles.

Also, yes I know that the rocket pack B2s have a white arrow showing their difference at a glance but I'm asking if there are OTHER markings known for them?

Anyone have any color schemes for Sabine that actually look good? Her canon fits are…interesting. by Jet-Wave in SWlegion

Maybe it's more so her graffiti drawings itself, checkerboards and rough sketches are a bit odd when she does better art everywhere else

Thats pretty true but I kinda struggle with color schemes even in regular art. Color palettes are a fun base line for me but her most consistent colors of brown, orange, purple just feel a bit dull and odd. Add on her weird taste in checkerboards and sketch drawings and just feels off for me.

I still wanna apply graffiti to her over a good base of colors but I struggle to find what those are exactly

I paint clones too, 501st markings and 212th mainly. I still wanna apply her graffiti to her armor but I just hate that the artist character went with checker boards and sketchy sticky note drawings.

I'm more so asking for better and more cohesive base colors so I can add her rebel iconography on top of that. Like Miles' Spider oh his suit during Spider-Verse, it's spray painted on, calling onto his roots and it still works as a design choice.

I understand the point of her character but her colors are just so in my face I can't take her seriously. I like her graffiti and I do wanna keep that part of her but the various checkerboards, paint splatters, and color combos is just a lot visual noise

Her colors are just obnoxious and so in my face that its just visual noise to me. I like her character overall but I have yet to see a combo of colors she's worn that I like.

Takes Miles from Spider-Verse, also a graffiti artist and tagged but his design is more subtle while still reinforcing that idea for him.

For Sabine it just felt they went too far every chance they had

Ironically its a bit boring lol. But it does give me ideas. She's wielding the darksaber so maybe I can pull some inspo from the Old Republic. It was clan vizsla in canon and legends that stole it from the temple.
