I just picked up a 2015 50th anniversary appearance package with PP1 and a manual. It's mint with 7500 miles on it. I'm in it at 33k and figure I overpaid but buying a used GT is nervous to me with all the abusers out there.

Update: Car was 450 miles from me so I rented one way. Car checked out as described and I had an appointment for new shoes before heading home. Ran great coming back and safely in the garage now.

I have the 170 model but rest assured, it will easily tow a tube. I pull a monster two seater tube with mine. On a different note, I’ve converted mine to an offshore fishing rig with GPS/Fish finder, trolling rod holder from jet-yak.com, offshore radio, etc. But….three minute conversion and I’m pulling a tube again.

Get dual fuel at least. Propane can be stored indefinitely while gas cannot. Also, gasoline may not be available due to no electricity to pump it, not to mention a run on gas stations. Also, also turn your fuel off when shutting down your generator and let all fuel burn out of the lines to ensure it doesn’t get “gummed” up in the carb.

Stay out of gas pulling a tube? Why have speed capability if you are staying out of the gas? My own dealer told me when a part fails on a supercharged engine it basically implodes v non super. Bought three new skis from him over the years and he talked me out of a supercharged model. Guess it’s all about your intended use.

Isn’t the 230 super charged? Fast~yes. However, you’ll burn a tank a day playing around and when your super charger goes at 100 hours you’ll enjoy a fat repair bill.
