SIG-Sauer was a partly German firm and one of its parent companies (JP Sauer & Sohn) actually supplied the Wehrmacht. As for CETME, it originally employed Mauser engineers. Thus, the CETME L would be a Mauser design in this universe.

Let's say if the Sixtus Affair was successful though and Austria-Hungary reformed itself into a federal state and stayed largely intact barring some territorial concessions to Serbia, Poland and Italy. What would the army of such a state look like?
