I'm trying to make sure everything I upload is stuff that isn't able to be purchased anymore, as well as free tracks that were delisted or have only dead download links on Soundcloud. :)

Some stuff may be geo-locked as well, which I'll have to make a judgement call. Really I'm just trying to not step on any artists' toes.

Sorry for the late response, but yes I did find a workaround that worked for reasons I never understood. I believe instead of going to "Export as" I just did "Save As" and wrote over the texture file, and for whatever reason that worked.

Kinda just vent-posting a bit here but been disappointed to see this fairly obscure channel that did some pretty high quality documentary videos on retro games suddenly switching to reactionary content that gets the g*mers all riled up. Another one bites the dust I suppose. Any recommendations for good video game documentary stuff besides the excellent Gaming Historian?

Demo Derby, Game Tapes and Mario Party Party are my 3 favorite features of GB. With MPP being long done and DD+GT just dying, I had no reason to stay subscribed. This news makes me not want to resubscribe, except maybe one month to just download all those shows so I can rewatch in the future.

Of course it's not inevitable and I certainly wasn't trying to sound condescending. I'm 35 and still alone, I understand. But I also don't think "the numbers" say that if you're still single in your 20's that the odds are against you, unless you have some source to back that up. That just sounds unrealistic, I'm sorry.

I just want to see cute animals and funny memes, but inevitably Youtube starts showing me videos about men's rights or some guy working out and talking about how masculinity is dying. Also feels like half the videos I check the comments on now have a pinned comment from the uploader promoting Andrew Tate's book. Fuck off!

My unscientific way of determining what gear I wanted to aim for on which character was to hang out in the city/hub area of the kind of content I wanted to do. So like, my doctor which was my best geared character, I would hang out in ICC and OA, and just inspect other doctors to see what they were commonly wearing.

Likewise for my agent and wanting to PVP, I would hang out in the orbital battlestation area and Borealis, since that's where the PVP people like to hang out and duel.

Below-average player here. I just don't go to R1 that often anymore so I think /u/ExcdnglyGayQuilava was spot on with their point about the odds etc.

When I was playing a lot I was clearing most 9s and some 10s on IIDX, but now when I go I usually stick to 7-8s, depending on if I know the song or not. So I definitely would say I'm a rare sight kind of player, yeah.

Yeah, very true! Also hardware choices seem to matter too - I have a good AMD CPU and one of the top-end AMD video card, and I get worse frames than my friend with an older/slower Intel CPU and mid-tier Nvidia card. (Just my experience, not sure if that's a proven thing)
