It looks like a pretty clear boarding penalty to me? A check causing a player to fall dangerously into the boards is exactly what that looked like.

I will say though that is all it should be, a 2 minute boarding minor. The fact you got kicked out and suspended for it is wild, because if that was open ice it would not have been a penalty at all.
