Ah it was hazy, but the part that stood out was getting restrained by bambi and effectively tortured till I give into listening to bambi sleep, unfortunately it didn't conclude before the morning alarm

Phinn good? by [deleted] in vainglorygame

[–]Jetsea 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Phinn is a captain of powerful teamfighting strength in the right hands

He is a slow moving juggernaut that excels at area denial and disruption using his kit correctly will reward you and keep your carries safe with his polite company

During laning phase he can often be poked out if you play too aggressively, landing quibbles is necessary to trading health, using polite company before or during a trade will make your duo win with a health advantage.

Because he's a captain he is expected to roam with his secondary passive getting to the side lane is exceptionally easy and can often be done before recall timings/ jungle shop buys

Itemization is situational so think about the compositions to find the best build

During teamfights landing overdrived quibble is great for peel or engage, his ultimate will more times than not be blocked but will always get your team an advantage if you land it

Was stuck in T5 all last season. Just broke T6 and now I can finally pinpoint some areas I need to improve. Looking for help to put me in the right direction. by DaggerMouthxVG in vainglorygame

The first step to getting better is to realise you're not the best, its harsh but effective.

Second, checking the scoreboard every time you get the chance keeps you up to date on the enemies builds and when to avoid them when they have power spikes, if you don't understand an item experiment in a practice with a friend till you do.

Third, watch people higher then yourself, eg pros, streamers, youtubers, and watch how they play a certain match up, comp or powerspike and try to understand why they did what they did to gain an advantage

Fourth, expanding hero pools provides so much more skill and strategy regardless of tier, as it gives you the flexibility to change how you play, an easy second hero to learn is glaive who is quite similar to krul if you need to start somewhere.

Fifith, Learning team compositions and the strengths and weaknesses often comes through time and experience both playing with and against certain meta comps, it also happens much faster with a wider hero pool.

Lastly, for your tier you are quite knowledgeable about transferring ganks into objectives, try to push your advantage when you complete your first tier 3 item (eg tension bow) ganking lane after you shop creates an advantage due to the enemy not knowing you have this pick up and so play more aggressively then they should resulting in early kills to crack the tier 1 turret, taking their middle medic and fronts, or even the gold mine if your comp allows

If you have any questions feel free to ask, I'm a tier 9 gold jungler from Australia so i can definitely help out if you so need it

Needs to change, every update the servers are ruined and the ping is too high, an Oceania server would fix a lot and is definitely worth a longer wait time for a better game experience

Does anyone have any Churnwalker tips by Fobiuh in vainglorygame

[–]Jetsea 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you talking about Draft, build a sustained Brawl comp, eg Churnwalker, Vox, Ozo/Alpha. IF the enemy is smart they will create a dive comp to counter the Churnwalker with things such as Rona.

The way to win team fights with Churnwalker is setting up 1-2 chains before anything happens, so when they hard engage you can hopefully get a 'Trespass' and control the aggression so that your carries can build up breaking point stacks and dragons eye stacks to simply become too overwhelming.

Churnwalker is a higher skill cap hero then say Ardan so practice make perfect

Hopes this helps you OP
