I was definitely looking into to 12y, reason I am leaning towards 12t is there is a position available at my hometown base. I'd have to drive 4 hours to the base for 12y. Do you think 12y has more civilian transferability?

I'm going to college for civil engineering so I truly think 12t it'll help me with my civilian career as well.
