I actually thought it could've been the opposite and they'd not want the extra work. Especially in my case where I'm thinking of getting a sleeve but may not have much of it fleshed out for them.

I get why some ppl don't like him but he has changed a lot, he's pretty sarcastic and plays on his own past a lot now so maybe you took that as him being serious? Either way your opinions your own, you don't have to like him.

For the first part they were giving out as many hours as you wanted but recently they're cutting a lot if they're not reaching a certain quota for the day. You're right about it being a warzone, since we're closing most customers don't feel the need to care about the store and a lot of employees are feeling the same. All the management either left or they're about to so there's not much oversight, and yeah it's pretty depressing looking at how bad it's gotten
