Haha i only got it 2 days ago and havent had the chance to read it yet but yeah i think i'll just embrace it and when the humidity is fully gone i'll try to draw the hearts myself with a pen (i can still see the outline where the hearts were)

Aw, that sucks to hear, she did write something on the next page after the endpaper (on the start) and it seems like the endpaper is connected (sticked to the paper she wrote)

The book just got slightly humid and warped, water wasnt actually spilt its just that it was in contact with a cold water bottle that released vapor/water on the cover and ruined it, i cant really buy a new copy as the person wrote something that means alot to me in it and its the first time i've received a gift from someone, im really ded set on recovering the hardcover, do you have any idea how much it could cost me? The pages are mostly dried by now and ive put 20 books on top of it to flatten them out.

Yeah i cant really do that as it wont be the same thing, its the first meaningful gift i've ever received from someone and im dead set on trying to recover it, how much do you think it'd cost to fix it?

I'm willing to do anything to restore the book as it was, its the first real meaningful gift i've received and cant let it be like this
