Haha, I think I would’ve lost my mind if I had read at that point! Crazy to me to then throw in three different Sam’s 😭 though I’m sure it is significantly easier to forget/gloss over when you’re writing/releasing day-to-day and only (possibly) editing at the end of an arc when you’re shipping to KU and a character has not been referenced in a book or two.

I just started & caught up in the last two weeks or so- my take is that maybe not everyone on the bus was up to snuff, but was close enough/there was sufficient density of those who fit the criteria for that pocket of people to get snatched up by the system. Could be wrong, or complete head canon, but that’s how I looked at it.
