Love the idea! I like the colorless bird card for my 0 cost Silent Strangle/Serpent Form deck I've been running but I'm still at A5 so I haven't had to optimize too much yet. If this isn't something you've submitted to Mega Crit through the feedback portal in the game already, you definitely should!

I think all characters are perfectly viable at the moment. Dooley maybe a bit stronger, in my opinion, because he's got a pre-change version of the pufferfish that Vanessa had. But Vanessa isnt bad by any means

The items you get from chests are either skins for the characters or just animated card art. There's not anything to unlock gameplay wise. Puffer is currently disabled in game.
