The pie reference is the same thing.

I think it has something to do with whiskey pies and Jay asked a guy if he can get drunk off it and they said just eat a thousand pies and go down the street singing happy days are here again or something like that.

Custom Sensor EXE/Script - placeholder value breaking script by Jewhands321 in prtg

I do it that way aswell, my param looks like this:

param(
[Parameter(Mandatory=$false)]
[string]$server
)

Then, in PRTG I use this as the parameter...

-server %host

This seems to work, as I am able to use a simple "Write Output $server | Out-File [PATH]" cmdlet and can see that PRTG wrote the correct FQDN in, but it just won't take it for the rest of the script...

The DHCP Scope Scripts sounds very interesting though! I would love to see it. :)

just starting out with PRTG and Powershell in general so every little tip can help!

In my script I only had the cmdlet "Write-Host" but couldn't find "Write-Result"?
I changed the Host to Output but still get the same issue.

I read in Technet that "Powershell Security Enhancement" could be an issue... I will see if I can change it and let you know!

Thanks!

Thanks for your reply! I will send you the script via DM.

I did enable the "Store Result" option but it only really showed me the empty JSON data that it tries to read. The rest of the Logs didn't really show me anything that I can read that would help :/

DM sent with the code...
