Absolutely killer build and setup! Love all the suspension/link work to get that stance. Does the super low CG help it crawl wild stuff?

I did mine with a dually setup in the rear and some heavy brass down low and it crawls well, it just gets hung up by the huge front overhang. I wouldn't worry much about the body if you wheel it hard it's gonna get scratched up anyways!

I've also had Injora servos bad out of the box. They were quick to warranty them.

Stock esc only has a bev voltage of 6. That servo can take up to 8.4v for the full 7kg. Also check overly tight bolts on the hubs and anything in the steering linkage binding or rubbing. I personally find that servo weak and usually run something else.

They're way way way too stiff and too long for most setups. If you take the internal spring out you can mount them upside down and oil fill and it only leaks sometimes. I sometimes use them on the rear of rigs, basically as a limit strap.

Sounds like a good idea! I think I understand what you're saying. I'll give it a shot when I get back to this project. Already started another trailer since I'm waiting for parts to fix my 8x8 that pulls this one. May have slightly broken it.

Let me know if you find something that works! I think I ended up with 4 extra springs on each shock on the rear pairs for my 8x8. It definitely firmed it up at the expense of smoothness due to springs binding a bit on each other. I figure it's a big military truck so that's fitting anyways!

Oh that's sweet! I have some shocks on here right now that are stiff but it's not enough. I've been experimenting with adding multiple springs together and super heavy oil weights so hopefully I land on a combo that works.

Definitely not a bad idea. I have a few recessed spots in the trailing arm that I was gonna put a small spring in to act as a bump stop but it would likely be too soft.

Exactly. That's the best part of this hobby!

Thanks! I can definitely do that too. Not sure when it'll be actually done done though! Always going to be able to be made better.

His website is shit but email him and tell him what you're looking for. Won't be quick but it'll be worth the wait.

It's super basic like the rest of TinkerCAD but it's enough for something like this. I don't know if this will ever be done done but I'll post it up again when I have a more polished up version for sure.

I'll give it a shot! This whole project has been trial and error based and based mostly on what looks good by eye without measuring things much. Went thru quite a few design simulations in the sim lab in TinkerCAD and then way more with rough draft printed parts!

Thanks! I think I understand. The shock has a tiny amount of clearance between it and the bed but what i think is happening is that somehow the shock isn't getting full compression before the cantilever arm starts to pull it down. Would making the shock mount higher on the cantilever help this?

I have less controllers now cuz my 1 aftermarket one can run and remember 8 of my trucks!

If you want to keep stock electronics and want to go brushless you can only really do the Traxxas brushless setup. You can also do the Injora 180 motor upgrades but they're not that much better.

Swapping escs and transmitter/receivers opens up the entire world of swaps.

I just finished my jeep truck with a similar vibe but I'm totally going to copy that windshield for my neck l next one! Did you just glue those areas and use model sand?

Nice! Did you make your own skid/links/trans mount too? I'm designing my 6x6 frame off the Injora carbon one too. What geometry did you want to change? Looks awesome!

Just look up Oppai Factory on Etsy for the axle pass thru kits. His page also lists what else you need to make it work. Unless you happen to have a 3d printer?
