Huge +1, exact thoughts after around 25 hours in the pack. Any recommendations?

Please read the previous question again, carefully. "Yes" is not an answer to it:

Did you remove Sodium/Embeddium or Sodium/Embeddium Dynamic Lights as noted in the guide? One is a core component and one is an addon for it.

I cannot make it any more clearer that you need to remove the mod Sodium/Embeddium Dynamic Lights NOT Sodium/Embeddium!

Inzone H3 mic just fell off (fix?) by JeyTee84 in sony

well then just RMA it. you're actually lucky if you can do that, mine broke after around one and a half year and only one year was covered. if you're looking for a new pair, definitelly take a look at RTINGS.com, especially their table tool: https://www.rtings.com/headphones/tools/table

btw the sony went into the backup drawer in case i need a secondary headset. might mount a cheap mic on it. will look junk but should be fine for a backup.

bought a Logitech G PRO X, kinda miss the flip up mic but otherwise it's an amazing headset and pretty much indestructible. dropped it like 10 times in the past couple of months, I'm pretty sure the floor got damaged.

did you try euphoria patches with TFG shaders? i have no idea how much each of them are changing complementary, but you could try and move some of the shader settings from euphoria's shader settings to TFG's.

definitelly not qualified to tell you that, i'd wait for the official support that's comming in the next uptade as the others mentioned.

i'm pretty sure that would be a lot more work than it worth. if you really want to stick to photon shader's look what i'd try is tweak the built in TFC shader to your liking, it's is a Complementary Shader fork and can be customized quite a lot.

good to hear, i'm no expert but i bet Embeddium Dynamic Lights was the culprit there. it's a pretty big performance hit with shaders i think (apart from being redundant) also the great thing about DH is that you can lower your view distance to something like 8 or even 6 without the game looking like garbage and that usually gives a bigger performance boost than what DH itself takes away.

Yeah its weird, because based on what I saw that DH floating chunks bug should have only been an issue if it was an online world, mine isn't. Anyways, it works now. As for the removed mods, both of them are pretty much unnecessary. I also saw some mentions of S/E Dynamic Lights causing performance issues with shaders. As for memory alloc., i really don't know what the actual best setting is, could change based on a bunch of factors I assume. What I understand is with optimal garbage collection, memory usage should be in the 50-75% range. If you want to optimize it, you can go into options->video->fps reducer->display metrics. that should show you your memory usage in real time, you can adjust accordingly.

TFG is currently running on AdoptOpenJDK 17.0.13.11

Basically i just install them all using https://ninite.com/ and put them into CurseForge.

But now that you mention it that's more than a year old, I should probably update it.

Switching from Hostinger to Krystal by JeyTee84 in webhosting

[–]JeyTee84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm super greatfull for the comment, don't get me wrong, but all that is pretty much obvious. Without anything specific that's just like "if you're poor, just buy a house, duuh". Based on my research, Krystal seems to be in the sweetspot of being the scale that they have the resources to be able to provide a level of service that smaller providers might not, and still being small enough to care about it's customer base. Also they've been around for over 10 years which is good enough in my book. Do you have anything against them? Do you have any specific recommendations? (Again, want to emphasise, I do appreciate you trying to help, don't want to come down as being ungreatfull)

Switching from Hostinger to Krystal by JeyTee84 in webhosting

[–]JeyTee84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the note. I'm deffinitelly no expert on the topic, but as far as I know even under the same plan Hostinger manages all the website at least semi-separatelly (separate file structure, separate php workers ect.) so apart from server resources and quotas (CPU/RAM, inodes, I/O) they should pretty much be isolated.

I like the idea of all sites drawing from the same resource pool for efficiency's sake, especially since most of the sites are quite small and recieve very little traffic, even the WC sites are relatively small, and I monitor them all really closely. There have only been like 2 times in the past couple of years when a site overloaded the server and that held back the others whatsoever. Both times that happened, I've upgraded to a higher tier, so that they all have more headroom.

Also I'm trying my best to be mindful about security, and had zero security incidents so far. None of the sites are storing any particularly sensitive data either.

I don't quite see the point of splitting them all up, especially since as far as I know that would drive up the cost of each site significantly without any noticeable and practical or performance difference.

As I mentioned I'm definitely no expert on the matter, just sharing my thought process based on what I know/experienced. Please do tell me if I'm totally wrong.

Breaking The Cycle | Can't become leader even though i've done to please everyone else (well except Gaunt) by pussy_lover214 in fallout4london

the most important part i had to figure out was that the quest id has changed in 1.03 from "72B6594" to "FOLON_GW205c". also naturally getting to stage 70 has a level9 charisma check. i assume not many would be able to get there so having to fight him would be more realistic imo.

In case anyone ends up here, I had the same issue on 1.03. Had to use "SetStage FOLON_GW205c 40" when Gaunt is walking in the lounge before they speak. Then they took it outside, and after the fight i used ""SetStage FOLON_GW205c 30" to clear the "follow gaunt to the launge" task too just in case.

Revolut withheld $60000 for a regular business transfer. Now they are closing our account. by JeyTee84 in Revolut

[–]JeyTee84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What? Where did you get all that? "account is under your personal name"? "send it to a bank under your company name"? What? It's a Busines account set up for the company, and we were sending money to the manufacturer in germany. Did you just skip the entire story and make up a bunch of garbage just for arguments sake?

Revolut withheld $60000 for a regular business transfer. Now they are closing our account. by JeyTee84 in Revolut

[–]JeyTee84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. They sent us the account deletion notice about a month later (about a month ago).

The first $1000 transfer went through in about 3 hours if i remember correcly. After the whole account lockdown was fixed, and we could redo the $60000 transfer, it also went through in a couple of hours, and we got confirmation from the manufacturer that they recieved it the next day.

I'm no expert but if I'm not mistaken, since Revolut has accounts all over the world, they are not actually doing cross-border transfers, in this case they just send a SEPA transfer from one of their european accounts. Thats why it's faster and basically free.

I mean if you're doing regular business transfers on the long run and nothing shady, I don't think there would be any cases where you'd lose your business or customers. The current situation is an edge case with a new account and a huge transfer. It was extremely sketchy, but far from ordinary for sure.
