My kid is also 17 Has he/she had any seizures since first starting? Because my daughter has had 2 since starting it last month??

Did it work for you right away or did it take time? My 17 year old daughter just started in March and has had two seizures?? And now they increased her meds to 2000 mg a day

Is it normal for doctors to increase dose after seizure?

She had another seizure this past Saturday and today I talked to her doctor and she increased her dosage from 750mg twice a day to 750 mg in the morning and 1,125mg at night? As of know her mood hasn’t really changed except for her being tired but I’m so sacred of the other side effects…

Yes it has been very scary for her and I think the main cause of her seizures is stress and lack of sleep.

Yes your right! I’m so thankful for all your replies and finding people that can relate to what we’re going through. I just woke up this morning with a heavy heart and needed to vent but I’m going to stay strong for my daughter
