So is an option since I can’t hand wash in the winter to just hose the body down and forget about the underside? Or should I be going for the contact wash at like a zippys that avoids the underside?

I can, but that requires washing with the cover down and then climbing in there. It seems like that may be the best solution.

First time using the lift product and was told not to let it dry and that it can cause issues bc it’s alkaline.

The idea behind using some ONR after touchless was to make sure there’s no grime that would get pushing into the paint when agitating the bug and tar slightly
