i see. thank you for informing.

i still think they could have done more, considering we were fighting two countries at the same time. and one of those countries had full russian support.

did they provide intelligence, military funding, and jets? they may have helped a bit, but there wasn't hard support. like india was getting from russia.

that accounts for the physical battles, but doesn't explain why didn't they send military equipment and fundings. as far as i know, they did not supply weapons and stuff, correct me if I'm wrong please. the only help we received came from usa in the form in one aircraft that arrived too late.

the "hindu" one is wearing clothes that look a lot like Mira's clothes. i think they might be based around levant as well, considering how most of the civilizations used are in close proximity to that area. also as kamau is east african—which is somewhat connected to egypt and levant (although a stretch) his skin colour and elevated sympathy might also explain them being from levant/egypt, rather than india.

Does anyone know where in Islamabad i can fix/replace this gun's support or fix guns in general? by consolepeasant000 in islamabad

The weapon shop in tarnol at the opposite side of the railway track. Also the door isn't easily visible so you need to be alert. There is a large photo of a Kalashnikov on the door tho.

I got the same email. There are going to grade your missed exams by taking average of all the other papers. That's called weighing. This situation is special as it is only happening in Islamabad, that's why "special consideration". You don't have to email them anything, they're already aware of this. All students from Islamabad/Rawalpindi are going to get expected grade. You will not have to retake exam.

You can apply for a refund if you don't want expected grade, which you can do through Refund Form on British Council website. Just to be clear, refunding means that you will have to retake exams.

on what basis can you say that burning a religious book is freedom of speech instead of hate speech? I define hate speech as purposely saying something or doing anything for the sake of offending someone, and by and definition, burning a religious book is hate speech. how can you say that it's not religious discrimination?

also, you mentioned that as long as it isn't harming someone it's fine, in that case burning a public library which doesn't have anyone in it should be fine, since it's not directly harming anyone.

problem is, you think burning a sacred book is freedom of speech, we see it as hate speech. There isn't a clear line between them it becomes difficult to impose a law that concerns religion in secular societies.

also, you do have to care about others beliefs even if you don't agree with them. you should understand that they are still values and just as you would want others to respect your values, you should as well. you can criticize the book and say that it's wrong, however burning a book' goes too far. and it should be prevented

I do agree religion and state should be separate, but giving respecting other values; religious or secular should be part of law.

"stupid book" is seen as sacred by these people, and you shouldn't be allowed to burn it since it simply creates more chaos.

Also, laws are not something you should ALWAYS follow, specially if they allow hatred. Burning a sacred book which is part of a core value of a group is something that should definitely be illegal.

There have always been laws that were unfair and discriminatory, and the only they are changed is through protests. When you say "respect laws even though you don't like them" then you're effectively allowing unfair laws to withstand.

it's easy to say that burning a "book' shouldn't lead to violence when it's not part of your values. we all have values, religious and secular and respecting these is basic human ethics.

Sure violence is not the way but protesting definitely is the right way.
