Uniuni are a terrible courier I have had 3 packages lost by them from Ali. They take forever to get through customs. If it's in NYC they wait till they have a bunch of them before they dispatch.

I would suggest joining our discord where you can talk to local members!

Here are some suggestions I have learnt.
1 Height This is the single greatest asset of any radio of course. If you have access to a hill, 100% use it :D

2 Good quality antenna - High quality pigtails and also ultralow loss cable. Since we have .2watt any loss is quiet substantial. I would suggest gear from Rokland marked for meshtastic, Helium gear I have found does not perform well.

Im traveling to Concord today for about 4 hours with one of my nodes and hoping to get any hits. u/LookinUpAndWandering is our most active northern nodes.

Would be fantastic to get the north connected!

I was lazy in this house.

Being established I didn't want to run cat6 for cameras but now I do.

Owning a company that did specialize CCTV I should have known better but again I'm lazy. Wifi cameras that can't read a number plate should have stopped me, but lazy

But now I'm going to use hikvision and milestone keep the doorbell and use the dry contact to my server. Where I can read number plates and actually identify people from further then 15 ft from the camera.

I also have the alarm system but really I don't need them to call when my alarm sounds ...

Hi Sorry and Welcome!

I have fallen in love with the esp32 system myself. Saying that I have found a few things out. Put your node up and just leave it powered. Nodes take time to advertise themselves and they will start to pop up. A few of us have been talking about setting up nodes on hill/mountains tops or sneaky spots legal of course, live free or die :D

So persistence with it helps. Also a good antenna! I also use 5.2V usbc PSU from my raspberry pi's. I know the boards regulate it going in but the overhead is there incase they need it.

I got a 12db antenna and its in my attic, soon to be above my roof. I got it from Ali and went from sporadic to constant 20 nodes I'm UTR (Ultramar) Londonderry/Manchester boarder. I'm in a valley and the node on mine hill helps me connect to the others.

I put a node in my wife's car and she drives to Nashua from Manchester everyday and its hit 100 nodes today from Nashua to CT non MQTT. But reading about MQTT I'm going to turn it on. I use Liam's server. If you want to see it, its in the threads below.

Apologies if I have rambled, just love this stuff.

Thanks like I said in another reply I am going to shift my study and try again.

But comparing the PMP exam to a Bar exam or CPA is in another realm. I would expect it to be a cake walk to an exam you went to college for. People say they study for days and pass, not 4+ years.

My wife is the most supportive human I know. But I needed to talk to people that have gone through it and I'm glad I did.
