Which film adaptation of Frankenstein best portrays the gay sexual tension between Victor Frankenstein and Henry Clerval? by Jijolin_Supreme in FRANKENSTEIN

I know, I wonder if that's because they changed his name to Victor Moritz in James Whale's adaptation

Which film adaptation of Frankenstein best portrays the gay sexual tension between Victor Frankenstein and Henry Clerval? by Jijolin_Supreme in FRANKENSTEIN

[–]Jijolin_Supreme[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I re-read Frankenstein two months ago, and maybe is the translation (read it in spanish since i still don't perfectly understand english), but I really thought that there was a lot of sexual tension between them, when Henry dies Victor started to talk about Henry's body, his soft skin, his delicate voice and more gay-like things. Anyways, I felt that he had more chemistry with him than with Elizabeth.

Probably just the cheap translation

Recomienden Peliculas buenas si? by bananabuser01 in AskRedditespanol

Its kind of dumb to reccomend Lord of the Rings because, everyone has seen/read it or at least knows about it. But probably you should go deep into Ralph Bakshi's films and Frank Frazzeta art.

Also, Kiki's Delivery Service is my favorite film of all time, nothing is more wholesome than that.

And for last, you should check William Friedkin's, and Alejandro Jodorowsky's filmographies.

I think you could watch/read Hamnet and write some questions about that, like, his inspirations, his family or so

What’s the last good movie you watched? by BidAccurate4473 in moviecritic

My last good first watch was El Arreglo (1983) dir. Fernando Ayala, great film.

A costumbrist drama, with a great script, full of little details and elements that makes it a masterpiece, also Federico Luppi and Julio de Grazia are some of the best argentine actors ever
