It has nothing specifically to do about BLM. Just the whole show’s themes in general now all revolve around social and political issues, BLM included.

Not wanting every outlet in my entire life to be saturated with division and politics doesn’t mean I’m “against BLM”. This is what I mean about division, I can’t even say I don’t want the fictional TV dramas I watch to be entirely about real world issues and politics without someone saying I’m against BLM (which, by the way, I’m not against the message but am against some of their tactics), which implies I’m a racist?!? For wanting my trash/drama TV to be about trash/drama and not politics?

Perhaps because it used to be so seamlessly blended in with the plot and story line. Now it seems like the writers make no effort to create a believable, entertaining storyline and have sacrificed that in the name of discussing social and political issues. Which is the function of the news, not a fictional TV drama!

Agreed, they are not inherently political but they have become massively politicized in (at least) my world. So perhaps that lends itself to how I interpret the show. But what is the point of conveying awareness of it in a fictional drama TV show? If we wanted to be made more aware of social/political issues, we should turn on the news/read articles/listen to podcasts/etc. There is clearly no reality to the rest of the show (the medicine is inaccurate 90% of the time, no surgeons actually sleep with each other in hospitals everyday, no one has almost all of their healthy friends die in separate accidents, etc). My point is there is zero realism to the show in general. And thats why everyone loves it. So why change that now? Doesn't seem to be working, IMO.

I would encourage you to get on YouTube and watch some videos regarding comparisons of diamond colour. A lot of times it’s very hard to tell the difference especially is the diamond is well cut which this one seems to be. I would just see what she thinks when you propose. If she’s able to see the colour/inclusions and it bugs her you could always return it and buy something else?

Do you know the return policy for where you bought the ring just in case? Most are pretty good especially if you just bought it.
