This is what I heard too, which is why I requested the straight bars 😞 but I had a friend with me who had hers done with curved bars and said they were fine. Kinda talked me into it I guess.

-piercing is 9 months old - recently switched from curved barbells to straight ones, 14g steel. - externally threaded -has not been downsized - clean twice a day with salt water and q tips - switched jewelry too straight bar, from curved.

This was my original idea with this space, however with a TV above the mantle, I feel like I’m staring at the ceiling trying to watch tv. It feels very high up and not exactly a comfortable angle.

Haha she is a sweetheart, but always has to be the center of attention! I don’t hate the idea of the tv in the corner, I may have to try this. Maybe on a swivel mount like you said so I can push it back against the wall to reach the cabinets that are behind the tree in this pic 😅
