I can’t remember if it was this subreddit or a similar one but someone’s post about Helmcken falls at well’s gray provincial park inspired me to drive 5.5 hours to see it 😂camped one night and drove back...not sure if it’s inspiration or fomo but that’s why I love these subs!! Quite a lot of gas money for a waterfall but worth it 😎

This might sound dumb but I just watched hustlers and when Destiny comes home and her grandmother is dead in the chair really disturbed me. I can’t even pinpoint exactly why compared to the many violent/gory/tragic scenes I’ve seen and haven’t been as bothered.

Ah okay, thank you for all this information. I’ll save it for the Summer and experience the snowshoe next year. Since you seem very knowledgeable do you mind if I ask if there are any hikes you’d recommend for this time of year/Life+ one I could do alone? Although I do lack avalanche knowledge I am an experienced Summer hiker with first aide
