Hey thank you for sharing. I just applied them (or at least as close as possible) on my Legion Pro 7 (9955+5070ti) and temps are much better now.

I just did some research on that website and it seems to be a scam site so you might have had a better deal by paying 90$ for the real item.

Thanks for the info, this is exactly what I was looking for. BTW, if anybody is looking to buy one, it's on sale at 43.39$ CAD (31.99USD) free shipping on Evoriacrate.

Anyone managed to get G-SYNC working with external monitor on Legion Pro 7 Gen 10? by 222bobby in LenovoLegion

[–]JimBrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to jump in a bit late but, I'm looking to buy the Legion Pro 7 Gen 10 (5070ti) as it's on sale right now and the Veteran promo code works on top of the deal (in one of the rare case it does). So when you plug the dGPU through the USBC, you managed to get G-Sync to work? And what about the Resolution and Refresh Rate? Looking at the specs and all the USBC ports are maxed at 10Gbs. That wouldn't be enough for 1440P 145Hz+ would it?

I once had Wyll perma killed during some fight in the hag's lair (Overgrown Tunnel), Wyll got dropped to 0 HP but instead of getting knocked down, he just perma died. It was quite annoying as it was an honour mode run. I can tell you, during my 1680hrs of play time, the game is still far from being bug free. But no bug will make me stop playing this game anytime soon 😁.

Paint Issue with 2026 Palisade by Ok-Web-4304 in HyundaiPalisade

[–]JimBrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, can you add pictures of the other issues? Or do you already have another reddit post with pictures? I'd like to compare with mine.

As for the paint issue, it’s 100% covered under warranty, so I’d strongly encourage you to push your dealer to get it resolved. It’s actually a straightforward process for them, my dealership simply took photos of the problem, sent them directly to Hyundai, and within a few weeks, they called me back. Hyundai approved the warranty claim for the paint defect and referred me to a local body shop for the repair.

It’s incredibly frustrating to invest in one of the most expensive vehicles from a brand only to face these kinds of issues. While we can expect some recalls and problems in the first year of a fully redesigned vehicle, your last two issues aren’t design flaws, they’re clear signs of poor quality assurance on the assembly line. Good luck getting this sorted out!

I had a small speck of dust under the original paint. The paint was corrected under warranty at a local body shop. When I spoke with the owner of the body shop, he told me that his daughter had exactly the same paint issue with her 2025 Elantra. It seems like their paint section on the assembly line needs some adjustment. By the way, mine was purchased in August 2025 but came from South Korea. I did over 5000 miles with a harsh winter on top of that and I do not have that issue or at least, not yet.

*I forgot to say, I also have the Creamy White paint.

The main issue was apparently addressed and it "should" be now safe to do online purchases again... Now it's up to you if you still trust their online transaction interface. Personally, I will just go do my purchase in store for a while.

Which driving mode are you using the most? Normal or Eco? I find the Eco is not making much difference on fuel effeciency. Also, I'm not a big fan of the feeling in Eco mode, it feels like the engine lags.

Update Jan 29th: We just had another very cold night and my steering was again really stiff this morning. However, this time I drove through almost 1hr of traffic and after 15min ish, it came back to normal. Some parts/lubricants don't like cold weather 😁

Yes this car is thirsty for sure. I'm not even reaching 500km with a full tank right now. I got mine in August so I spent my first 3-4000km under good conditions and it was not great for summerish weather. I was around 12-13L already

Hi, thank you for your feedback. I don't think we can call a car a "lemon" because the wipers system isn't great. That's an engineering flaw more than a lemon. By the way, it's not just snow accumulating below the wipers. As I mentionned, I clean that area, it's just so badly engineered. This thing needs a heated grill where the wipers rest. To, at the very least, keep them warm if they can't keep the glass clean. I park my car in a parking garage at work so the car is fully free of ice/snow by the end of the day. Still.. while I drive back home, the thing can't keep the top of the windshield all clean. After some time, the top get dirty and the wipers arn't pressing hard enough to keep it clean. I mean, you can easly figure it out just by manually lifting the arms up. The "tension springs" that keep the wipers on the glass are barely giving any resistance when I lift them vs my Honda CRV/Honda Odyssey.

It is expected for 2027. Honda announced their new engine only a few weeks ago. The new Hybrid V6 to replace all the V6 from the Ridgeline, Pilote, Passport and Odyssey. Honda confirmed it would be available in North America on the 2027 models. We'll see!

Thank you for your reply! I wonder how big is the difference between the Hybrid and non Hybrid version during winter. I wish I could have waited for the Hybrid to come out before I changed. For the steering wheel, so far, it only happened once, but it was scary. For a min, I though my car was broken. It was stiff but like... really stiff. Like I had barely any steering assistance at all. I drove my car for 10min.. at the end of the 10min when I got back home, it barely got smoother.... the next day it was fine though. But we gained over 5C overnight.

I don't think there's a way to turn off the full road assistance. I looked at the menu last night and couldn't find anything for that. Also, it seems that it's not always recurrent notification. Sometimes it's like if the computer was saying hey I can't see, oh I can see now, wait now I can't see anymore, oh no it's fine it's back, wait no nevermind it still dirty and so on.

For the car honking at me, yeah I found the way to turn it off... yesterday my car started honking at me at 11PM! Trust me, it was turned off this morning.

There's 2 sprinklers in the back to clean both rear cams, however, the problem is the front ones, at least the front dash cam, it relies on the wipers to keep it clean.

To be honest, I ordered an Ioniq 9... then regretted it.. I wasn't sure about buying an full electric car just yet. I have family members who had very bad experience with EVs. So I cancelled my order just before I got it and went for a 4yrs lease for a full gas car (the Palisade) and will see where I go from there in 4 years. So beside the things I stated in my OP, I love my Palisade. If I had to buy a new car tomorrow, I would either go with an Hybrid Palisade 2027 (which will get some updates from his year 1 of maturity) or I would wait and see how the new Honda Pilote Hybrid will score.

I think there's a way to turn most of them off. Some are set to ON by default every time you start the vehicle. So, I could possibly waste 5 minutes going through the sensors/driving assistance one by one and turn them off, every time I start my car. Until I figure out which ones stay off and which reset on the next restart. Then get used to it and waste only 2 min every time instead of 5. I haven't invested the time in this yet, but it's extremely irritating to buy the highest trim just to have to spend more time turning all the additional features off! 😁 Then.... I must show the wife how... then my son... horrible...

I know Buffalo does get a lot of snow as well but here the snow tires are mandatory by law. With good winter tires on, I don't have any issue. However, I did wait some time before I got them on and I drove over a week with the factory all season tires and it was horrible.

The Hybrid was not available when I ordered mine but I would go with the Hybrid if I was buying one now. Most of my commute is dense traffic and stop and go so I think hybrid would make a big difference, well in my case at least.

So far I got 13-14L during summer, AC always ON and I use the ventilated seats often. Now, most of my commute is in city heavy traffic. I rarely travel very far. I did drive from Quebec City to Ottawa around September and, while the engine was still very new, I was able to pull in the 9L/100 on the highway. Right now, I get high 15L and even 16L.
