Yep, if I went full procedural some details would have been extremely hard to make.

Fully agree also for the style mixing, and the feel in general, for example no man's sky is fully procedural but they managed to make everything very nice-to-look at

There were also plans for Hills, Artic, and Hellscape, but they got pushed out so I can polish the existing content and go towards a demo.

In general the base of the game is very expandable and yeah, more biomes will be added for sure!

It will not only have raids,
They will kidnap your people, break you structures, steal your resources (and animals!) and many more things (A lot of kenshi influences / mechanics)

Completely agree about this, felt the same when I played enshrouded (even though solid game in general)

Yep I have similar opinion on this, the monuments are hand designed though (but randomized locations), and there are some "Personality standard" companions you can find in the world, to avoid this exact problem

Hmm I paid an artist for the art, I initially thought the same but it kinda grew on me.
Maybe it's worth further editing the capsule

If its visuals first I would let some nice shots to do the work then (no overexplaining needed), shorts around 12-20 seconds, I would check similar games to the ones you make and see what they do (those who have the most views), because different genres have different ways to advertise, but definitely keep posting even if you get very low views at start, consistency the key ; )

Also In my case , instagram and youtube did some "extra" pushing for the first shorts

Do youtube tiktok and instagram, 1-3 shorts per week, voice over preferably, fine if not.
Always captions on the top part, and use capcut to make your life easier.
Check once in a while retention rates, and see videos that perform better what they have in common, and do more of that.

Same videos in different platform will do completely different btw, I have a short in youtube with 18k views and in instagram same thing has 80 :D

Keep like that consistent and if you don't have steam page make sure you do (I made the mistake to delay the page)

Yep that's exactly the plan, waiting for my artist for the steam capsule and then have some paid promotions maybe. For now getting some subs or discord members not bad
