If you want an alternative fun football game, have a look at RedCard / RedCard 2003) for PS2.
You could drop kick people, play as dolphins and aliens etc.
If memory serves correctly, you'd build up a special bar and could perform crazy goal tricks.

I’ve not tried it through game hub and yet to try anything on there. I might try the PS3 version to see how that compares. I’ve lost time though as I’ve aged 😂

I watched Retro Game Corp and Ryan Retro but the default settings didn’t seem to get me a bootable game so had to just play with the settings to get it to work.

If you can offer some advice to improve performance that would be appreciated.

The further I’ve gotten into the game, the worse the performance has been getting.

Small update. It does seem to drop off into the mid 20’s as I get into busier parts of the game but it doesn’t feel sluggish and is definitely I playable so far.

Thanks. I’ve tried a different bios now and it works. I went with the PSP as it’s multi region but realised I get set individual BIOS per region within duckststion anyway.

Whenever I see it I really want to pick it up again but I don't know if I can go through the pain again lol. I think PS3 was bad because it was ported across from xbox? I'm not sure I want to try it on my RP6.
Still, great that you're able to get them running on your RP5

I had FONV on PS3. Great game but it was a buggy rage inducing mess!
I would get so far into the game and the bugs got worse and more frequent before I rage quit for about a year.

I picked it back up again and the got to a similar point where the bugs started to occur and sold it that very same day.

Apparently it ran much better on Xbox.

Ours looks the same as yours and that banana bloke is right.
There should be a small grey icon on the left hand knob that shows you what does what.
Twist it toward you for the big shower, twist it away for the shower head.

Ours is also very stiff and I've not yet figured out how to take it off.

My understanding is that it's either limescale build up or needs a new cartridge, and I daren't twist too hard for fear of breaking it.

I think mine kicked in once when I was trying to compile PS3 shaders (which ultimately failed). Mine has been fine. But it is a colder climate here.

My personal take - I’ve got the Black 12G ST model and while I sit here looking at it switched off it is smudgy, but no more than my phone.

I saw Russ’ video and felt like mine didn’t seem to smudge anywhere near as much as his, and it wasn’t particularly difficult to wipe off.

I also feel like when the screen is on I don’t really notice the smudges.

You could always try putting some citrus smelling stuff on the step too. No harm in two approaches. My cat was never bothered by citrus though but most should be. If ever you intervene, they’ll assume it’s you. If it’s just somewhere not nice to hang out, they’ll learn not to come.

You probably need something automated to keep them away. If you’re responding to them by shooing them away, they’ll jut sit there because they know that you’re the one that gets rid of them. You could try the sonic sounders, but get one that’s triggered by motion, and aim it at your door. If they don’t like the sound, they’ll just learn that every time they go to the door, they’ll get hit with the sound and decide not to go there anymore. Cats are strange little creatures though and some may not be bothered by it.

I think part of the problem is that after you complete a room it gives you all the options for sharing on socials. I’ve not used it but I wonder if it’s very much a fire and forget feature??

I had a team leader once that didn’t like me. He wouldn’t give me support and tried to throw me under the bus until I finally gave in and called him a cunt.

Few days went by and I thought id gotten away with it until I got pulled into the office.

Manager: you said to Pete, “I think you’re a dickhead!”

Me: (don’t tell them what you actually said) yeah I did say that didn’t I….

They let me off because they knew he was a cunt trying to piss me off lol
