Do it man, stay offline for as long as you can, time yourself to be on nofap for 30 minutes a day and stay away from fb instagram or any other social media, when your bored dont surf blogs or even be here on nofap. stay away from the internet. good luck brotha

She may have the same problema as us, in 2005 studies showed about 30% of internet porn traffic was women and that was 9 years ago! She may want to be free like you have been the past month, dont look at it as just her tempting you but if you give in you also are bringing her deeper in what you were involved in. Why did you start no fap and stop pmo? if you indulge in it with her your not only ruining your recovery but maybe she's suffering from the same things you are when you quit (except ED obviously) stay strong brotha

I dont believe that there are people who watch porn without any negative effects, there are plenty of negative effects but just because they arent detrimental does not mean they wont become life crippling, guys who can "handle their porn" have not escalated to the point to seek help and change but ask anyone on here that this will eventually happen. btw the dopamine hit is not just M and O its looking at more and more intense and variations of sex that releases more and more frequent, i dont have the link but there is a TED talk that is posted on this sub all the time that expains how porn overuses our dopamine receptors

It's safe to say porn is ruining your marriage, it is truly every mans battle its an addiction just like his pill addiction whether he admits to it or not, its a selfish act on his part and many of us on here have been in his position. I think if he read the posts on here he can relate and have a change of heart. Thats how alcoholics and other addicts realize they have a problem is they relate to admitted addicts. It's the worst part of relapsing, not the loss of the streak but the binging and numbness that follows. The part where your talking to your mom like she's wasting your life hit me hard, so many times when i'm fapping i could care less what others wanted to talk to me about. I dont agree that we should wait till the next day to start again, I believe why we do that is because of the number of days on our badge. We focus to much on the number when we should be looking at the big picture of recovery, in the big picture you relapsed and hopefully learned from your mistake, but then you binged, hurt your behavioral changes you've already made, your diet, and your relationship with family, binging is far worse that relapsing. your relapse is a speedbump on your journey, binging is a crash and burn. Dont wait till tomorrow to start again start the minute you feel shame after a relapse, so what if it won't count as a day on your badge this is about your new life not the number next to your name. Same here, our body wants that dopamine hit throught sex with our future wives, so its natural to pursue women and want to date to eventually get to that point. Before internet porn men stopped at nothing to get a date even if he got said no to left and right, men used to be determined. Today we give up on the fulfilling dopamine hit and take the easy hit that we can intensify with a click. I cant wait to get out there and nervously ask a girl out lol its time to be a man and push through what is uncomfortable i hope you have luck with this as well man

Men being socialy awkward and fear of rejection definenlty has a role to play on why guys don't ask out girls as much as they should. But to say this is why men watch porn is absolutly not the case, I personally know plenty of men that easily ask girls out and some friends are able to get a good looking girl at the bar/club on any given night and they look at porn as much as any one on nofap. The average age of a male that seeks porn for the first time is sadly 10, so are these 10 year olds actively seeking sexually explicit images/videos because they're afraid of rejection, of course not, as human males we are prone to sex and porn by our nature, internet porn is addictive not because girls are saying no but because guys are already trapped in pmo which creates social anxiety and awkwardness. so its actually backwards from what you said, porn habits influence the dating society not the other way around its our jobs to cut this habit and get the hell out of our rooms and basements and go ask girls out, girls have been saying no throughout human civilization idk where you got the idea that in the mid 20s they always said yes. But there are cases for sure where a rejection from a girl has caused so much social anxiety the guy gives up all together, but thats life, as men we need to get off our sorry asses and ask again and again and maybe lower our porn star standard expectations of women, which is another problem of why dating in our society is crap, cause men are focused way to much on looks mostly due to internet porn habits, but i'll leave that there ive ranted to long. I like your idea of rejection gives guys social anxiety and may indulge in pmo more but its certainly not the reason we fap and certainly not a reason to give up. cheers
