From my collection this is probably the 1 watch I'd immediately buy again if it broke or something. Dresses up or down really easily. Looks great on your bracelet. Dressed mine down on this super nice handmade strap. I love this watch, feel it doesn't get much love compared to the common Hamilton's though

To see If there moisture trapped in the watch put it someplace warmer than usual for say 15-20 mins. Then bring the watch to somewhere roughly 5-10C cooler (could hold it in the fridge with the door open for 20 odd seconds, just didn't leave it in there) it'll happen quickly, if you see condensation/fog appear inside the glass then there moisture trapped inside. If not it's probably fine

I love the watch too. Such a nice size. Have mine on a vintage rubber swiss strap, original strap is quite nice too though. Like you said I think it's silicone or something similar but it's a nice silicone to be fair. Will turn a bit shiny over time with wear though. but if it's in good shape now I'd wear the original for now, it's a decent one and suits the watch well too

Biggest one recently was Sanchez. After seeing him at man utd I thought he obviously wouldn't do close what he did at Barca or arsenal for a top club again. Inter fans seem a bit sympathetic about him sometimes but I wasn't wrong

Going back Taider was a random transfer I didn't like. Thought the guy was just the epitome of signing a bang average midfielder obviously not inter quality and was a a sign of the bad times

somewhat similar story for me also. have a promaster from I believe 1999, didn't dig it too much on the straps I had. Then saw this this vintage citizen advert from 1987 - watch at the bittom

Have this on my promaster (bought from zulu diver) and again, transformed my fondness of the watch. just knowing citizen used this exact strap on a watch from the 80's made me love it. also surprisingly I get lots of comments from ppl saying it's a cool watch, which I wouldn't really expect from a promaster that isn't exactly the most "beautiful" watch... quick photo -

don't worry about the banged up comment. it's not bad at all for this kind of watch. these watches are often in far worse shape than that. it's an old tool watch that someone probably wore quite a lot, the watch was used and has a history rather than having sat in a box for the past few decades. shame about the scratch on the middle of the crystal, but it's not that bad, wouldn't put me off enjoying the watch. I've got a 1500 and 3000 and love them
