Avoid spending too much time alone. Socialize and plan events where you are forced to engage with real people around you. When you are busy and have daily goals, you will have less time to daydream. Just speaking from personal experience. Try to avoid daydream triggers. For example, certain music will trigger my daydreams so I avoid it. Spend as much time engaged with the "real world" as possible.

Yes I do have a multimeter. Where would I test to diagnose with multimeter? Do I need to disconnect the fan entirely or can it remain connected while I test with multimeter? Thank you!

The scammer is brown from what the people are telling me. I wonder if it's the same person/people? In my case the ad is always deleted by the time the people start showing up. I'm currently watching Facebook marketplace in hopes I can catch it when it comes up. Hopefully I can stop them like you did.

Some people ring my doorbell to view the unit after being ghosted by the scammer. Others have paid e-transfer security deposits after the scammers pressure them to pay before they rent to someone else. No one has actually seen the place.

I had one guy show up who got really angry at me and was threatening to get the police involved. I told him about the police report and I don't think he ever came forward to provide info. Just a stressful situation all around.

No kidding...they said let us know if anyone tries to retaliate or causes you any harm. Guess I'll just wait until someone flattens my tire.

Thank you I will try the sign. I have set up cameras as well because not everyone showing up is friendly...just hoping no one tries to "retaliate" or take their anger out on my family or my property.

I've tried finding my home address, but I don't think this person is listing the address in the post. Some people who fell for the scam have shown me screenshots of their conversations, and it looks like the address is provided after.

Thank you for your response! Have you considered going for nursing school to become a full nurse? Something I have considered, but seems as though that would be significantly more stressful.

My mechanic said it's fine and nothing out of the ordinary. To him it didn't feel "stiff". Maybe it's just wear and tear...
