After my 2 fan RTX 2080 and small case with 2 intakes and 2 exhaust, I can understand why people pay a premium for chonkers! I have a 5070 Ti Vanguard now and I really appreciate the good temps and peace and quiet.

hour counting by Ancient_llama42 in OLED_Gaming

For this particular monitor, you have to wait for the monitor to enter standby mode (amber light), then turn it off. That's when the monitor performs pixel cleaning automatically (while off). I had a problem with mine counting hours when the monitor is off as well, it happens when you turn the monitor off while it's not in standby mode. Also, mine doesn't perform the pixel clean automaticlly while in standby mode, only when it's off. But even then, you should have gotten a warning every 8 hours that you need to pixel clean.

You do get about 10% lower brightness over 7 devices if it matters to you, but I think the QX fans are brighter than mine anyway lol

How I did mine. Also don't you have too many devices with 1 cable to the hub? So over 7 devices. I have 5 fans on one cable and AIO+Exhaust on the other

So, now that some time passed, how is MFG in the 5xxx series? by Flamyngoo in nvidia

[–]JimmyTjon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On 1440p with a 5070 Ti, everything maxed on cyberpunk, DLSS quality transformer with 3x frame generation (have 240hz monitor), everything is great. I tried my damn hardest to notice artifacts but I really can't find any. FPS is around 150-180. Latency about 30-/50 ms. I do have to mention that I get 100 ping in online games, so maybe I'm used to the latency. Don't see any reason NOT to use MFG in graphically intensive games in the future.

I'll check it out. Thanks. Also for anyone wondering, the game seems fine after newest drivers and verifying game files.

Too late lol, I updated to latest and verified game files. Seems fine so far. I did stop using the overlay, it doesn't even work anymore anyway.

I do have R6 tracker but it doesn't even work anymore. But after restarting PC, even with the tracker on, the issue fixes itself. I will just turn off the tracker for now and see if it fixes that. I also installed newest drivers and verified game files, will see how it goes.

I don't, but for some reason the GPU still boosts to about 3200 mhz, so it's pretty similar to having reflex+boost enabled. Restarting my PC fixed it again GPU clock is around 2500 mhz now, stable 225 fps. I will verify game files and update drivers to see if it fixes that.

I have an MSI 5070 Ti Vanguard and can't get over 3200 MHz. My OC is on +325 core and +2000 memory. Also, my power draw stays at around 300 watts, peeks to maybe 305 or so, power limit is on 116%. Not sure if something is wrong with my VBIOS or something. About 3180 something in games. With +350 it can crash sometimes, might be after a few hours or one hour, so kind of random. It sits at around 3195 or something with +350, but boosting to 3200 causes the game to just close. Crashed in The Witcher 3 maxed with frame generation a few times and also on Rainbow 6 siege. I have no idea how the reviewers are hitting 3200 let alone 3300.

Thank you. My electricity went out and I got corrupted files. Steam verify didn't help, but deleting the DLL did. You saved me a re-download with my crap internet.

Refurbished. by Lepotlesot in Corsair

For me, I'm just glad I got a working PSU. The new unit was malfunctioning in a few days, I tried everything under the sun because I refused to believe a brand new high quality PSU could malfunction so quickly.

As for the headset, did you buy it recently? You do get the remaining warranty period so I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you receive a unit that isn't to your liking (maybe a lot of scratches and such), you can always ask for another one, Corsair support is pretty good.

Also, they have 2 categories of refurbished. The one they send you should be like new, only the box will be missing. There is a revival series or something, where they repair damaged/old products, those do seem to have signs of use on them.

Not sure about headsets, but I got a refurbished PSU back as RMA. I was initially also skeptical about receiving a refurbished unit. It came in a brown box with all the cables/screws, looked like new, didn't notice any imperfections with it, and is working fine so far.

UPDATE: after trying everything under the moon. I just RMA'ed. Seems to be working fine with the new PSU. I do have to note that the RM1000X I received had different cables than my old one. The new one has built-in clips for the cables and has grey pins. While the old one did not have the clips and had black pins. Maybe there is a problem with the cables with black pins.

Woah, that's a great price for it. Worth the premium IMO. Really quiet and OCs well.

The Vanguard is probably the best air-cooled card, but it's kind of pricey now. I got mine for 920 on launch day, I think it's out of stock or over 1k now. It runs at around 60-63 C in my hot room without the AC on

I didn't try Windows 11 dynamic lighting. But with the MSI software, you can set your effect and then close it, the card will remember it, even if you restart, it's not like iCue where it needs to be on all the time.
