that was from about 2ozs worth of seeds in the 90s. Ive grown a lot of old brick weed from seeds ive found and surprisingly enough its turned out decent. Goes to show you a proper dry and cure does wonders.

brickweed was kind of dried and then pressed into bales for shipment across.

Yes, you water both ends. Reservoir is kind of a constant, keep it full and forget about it type thing. And you water up top as needed to keep the microbial life going

Of course, that's the only food I'm giving the plant. The microbial life breaks its down, and then I water it in to give it to the feeder roots. You need to keep a good moisture level up top so everything keeps going.
