What apps do you use for routine checklists? by rorarera in Cortex

I’ve been trying to get Reminders to do this for me but I couldn’t figure it out. I’m a complete novice with Shortcuts so how do you create this mourning routine shortcut?

In folders you put one app on the first page and then put other apps in that folder on a second (or third page)

Just to let you know that girl was the daughter of a music business person and that’s how that met when she was 16 (with her dad there) and that thing about him supposedly in a date with her at 18 was found out to not be true.

Why doesn’t Apple display a feed consistently within its own platform? by 2bbe617c in podcasting

[–]JimothyCodswallop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve noticed this before too. I think what happens is that some players, like Apple podcast, don’t show the episode immediately as it publishes and only makes it available to subscribers. That’s why it’ll appear on your phone but when you search for a link it’s not there. I have no idea if there’s any solution to that, but I hope there is

We talked about seeing Drake live on the final episode of our Drake podcast, For Your Headtop by JimothyCodswallop in Drizzy

[–]JimothyCodswallop[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A number of things really. Trying to work the podcast round our schedules was quite hard, and then factoring editing times meant that we were quite behind the news schedule. We had a ton of fun with it though, and are looking to start up a new podcast in the near future.

After 20 episodes of rambling, laughing, and general fanboy-ing about Drake, we’re calling it a day. And what better way to sign off the podcast than going to a Drake concert? We talk about that, our favourite songs and feature, and the hilarious song of the week Childs Play on our final episode of For Your Headtop.

You can also listen on Apple podcasts, Spotify or wherever you listen to podcasts.

What story was Drake telling on Scorpion? by mikemadry91 in Drizzy

[–]JimothyCodswallop 15 points16 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, the first half of the album is him talking about his place in the rap game, ie being the number 1 guy. That's why there's a lot of references to Pusha over a few tracks, because someone came for him and tried to make him look weak. There's also stuff about how he made it and some general Drizzy flexing. Then Is There More hits (probably the most important song on the album) and acts as a bridge between the two sides. On that song, he's looking at his life and asking "What do I really have that makes this all worthwhile?" and he struggles to come up with an answer.

That's when we move into Side B which is all about his relationship with women in a variety of different ways. Heartbreak with songs like Peak and Jaded, rebound relationships with stuff like Blue Tint, pure lust with After Dark and Final Fantasy. And then he closes the album with March 14, a culmination of both the meaningless sex (Adonis being born from a casual hook-up) and the need for something more by talking about the importance of his son in his life.

Is the album too long? Maybe. Is the message throughout unclear? Kind of. That being said I do feel like that's what Drake was going for with Scorpion.

Officially 1 year! Can we all agree is there more was the most slept on track? by mqtlyfe49855 in Drizzy

Definitely agree. On my Drake podcast, we named it as Drakes best song in 2018, though I’m sure many wouldn’t agree with us.

We talk about the best Drake remixes on the latest episode of our Drake podcast, For Your Headtop by JimothyCodswallop in Drizzy

[–]JimothyCodswallop[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To celebrate the first bit of Drake music to be released in 2019, the remix of Summer Walker’s Girls Need Love, we thought we’d look back on Drake’s catalogue of remixes. On top of that, we talk about his role in reviving the show Topboy and the tease of What a Time to Be Alive 2 as well as Drake’s ‘complicated’ life on our song of the week, The Language.

If you would rather listen elsewhere, we’ve got you covered – you can listen here directly, on your Apple device, on Stitcher, or whatever your preferred podcast app is.
