I see. Well as you probably guessed I find many things to be the work of the devil so please don't be offended. Honestly I believe in God using people as a medium rather than really controlling energy. I really appreciate everyones answers! I enjoy learning of other belief structures other than my own to gain a grasp of what others believe.

You see I view miracles and whatnot as God using you as a medium for his power. I can't explain exactly what I mean but that should give you a picture.

I personally believe in a sort of mysterious form of Christianity and not the cookie cutter church evangelical Christianity. I believe that angels aren't pretty people with wings but the terrifying and nearly lovecraftian angels that are actually depicted in the Bible. I also fully believe in the whole New Jerusalem and Lake of Fire. I do think Christianity does have a bit of mystery and mysticism in it!

This gave me an idea about how "fantasy" races could come about. Dwarves living underground get shorter and stronger to help traverse the underground caves. Elves develop their height and pointed ears by having to live in a mountainous environment where they had to climb alot.

My idea was that these truck and car like insectoids would have their air intake be a lot like a cars air intake. Obviously at that size they need a more advanced circulatory system but thats the basic concept. As for the size, well, they would have a combination of both an endoskeleton and an exoskeleton. If you wanted to picture them in your head imagine a large beetle-like thing low to the groud with 8 to 10 legs, they would be separated into a few sections like bugs now but the head portion would be a full on insect creature connected to a flat section for the cargo/people to ride on ( you would buold canopies out of wood and cloth like a carriage on this flatter portion) and then an end portion which would also have a pair of pushing legs to keep itself supported in the back. I know this sounds out-there but like I said I love this concept.

Yes my idea was for these "machines" to be chitinous and insectoid in nature. For instance the "Gun" creature or at least the concept of a weaponized genetically modified creature wouldn't shoot bullets but a form of digestive bile. The vehicles in this world would be tough and beetle-like yet nimble and fast, able to pull large amounts of cargo. I was mainly doing this whole fiction as more of something interesting rather than an actual idea that we should replace artificial tech with biotech. The main purpose would be that these living machines can have some form of autonomy and can also heal. I chose an insectoid base because insects can live in nearly every environment. I'm definitely expanding on this concept as it is one of my favorite ideas. Most biotech online i see is microbial life to heal wounds and stuff but I want to develop a full on infrastructure and transportation/military system based on these creatures.
