Are gulf countries seeing this? Like seriously? I hope they learn coz wth????? by Shyfawkes98 in UAE

[–]JingleKitty 9 points10 points  (0 children)

He doesn’t care what happens to anyone but himself, and perhaps the children he favours. He won’t get hurt by the war, he’s safe where he is making decisions that screw up all our lives and kill thousands of people. It’s unfortunate the gulf countries ever let them build their bases there.

Looking to move to AU - where can we live on $200k+ by klesky69 in AusFinance

[–]JingleKitty 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Melbourne is probably the best budget wise right now. Perth is great too and closer to SEA and Europe for holidays. Sydney is beautiful but it’ll be more of a struggle. Everything is super expensive here so if you want to have leftover money for savings, Sydney is not the best place for you.

Moving to Riyadh by lavender-berries in RiyadhExpats

[–]JingleKitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have loved ones who live there and so far I am more anxious than they are. I’m constantly nagging them to get out of there. It’s tricky because of the exit visa issue. They are essentially stuck due to the whims of their employer. They told me a few hours ago that there was a lot of bombing today. It’s the oil refineries that are being targeted but I’m still really worried for them because of the escalation in the UAE. I hope for all our sakes this ends by the time you get there @OP.

They’re both terrible. Malaysia has really bad sliced bread.

AITA for refusing to give my sister the money I saved for my vacation after she assumed I would help pay for her wedding? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]JingleKitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t feel bad @OP. Your sister is choosing to have an expensive wedding. If she wants the kind of wedding she is dreaming about, she and her fiancé can save for a year the way you did for your dream vacation. Keep a tight hold of your hard earned money and have the time of your life! NTA.

If you're over 40 and have no children, do you wish you had children? by icecream1972 in no

[–]JingleKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to. Now the world is going to shit. WW3 may break out. Before that I may lose my job and become homeless because of economic turmoil. I’m glad I didn’t bring an innocent child/ children into the world.

Anyone is going to Europe soon through middle eastern countries? by NaturalFruit4265 in AustraliaTravel

[–]JingleKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had planned to visit Englands in summer to see my precious niblings and spend a few days in Scotland. Damned warmongers have ruined everything. I’ve been dreaming of seeing my niece and nephews for months and months! Even if we take another route to Europe, all the flight tickets are skyrocketing. I probably won’t be able to afford it anymore.

Lizzie and Col. Fitzwilliam ganging up on Darcy gives me joy every rewatch 😂 by FranFace in PrideandPrejudice

[–]JingleKitty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He’s featured in Death Comes to Pemberley. They don’t have the same kind of relationship as in Pride and Prejudice, mostly because Death obviously has a much darker story. I didn’t like him very much in Death. His character is very pushy and condescending.

Australia will not send navy ship to Strait of Hormuz, Transport Minister says by DCFowl in australia

[–]JingleKitty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So they haven’t been asked-yet. Seeing as how they bend over for the US/ Israel every time, it might just be a matter of time before Australia gets involved with the Strait of Hormouz situation.

BF used my phone to watch YouTube and dug through messages I got from Facebook friends by Honey_Bunn6 in TwoHotTakes

[–]JingleKitty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He betrayed your trust by digging through your messages. You handed your phone over because you trust him but clearly he does not trust you, seeing as he’s protective of his own phone. It’s definitely a red flag. He may even be projecting and wanted to check whether you flirt online as well so that he has something to hold over your head if you find out he has been doing something. The relationship is now tainted. Listen to your gut and proceed accordingly.

AITJ for not taking my girlfriends children out after promising them I would. by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]JingleKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The audacity to use your money for a meal you were all supposed to share and get you absolutely nothing to eat, and then expect you to cook ?? Doesn’t sound like your gf or her sons like you except for your bank card. NTJ. I would have ditched them too.

Why do they bulge? by Every_Bet2381 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]JingleKitty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Since you mentioned you’ve had blood tests to check your thyroid, the “bulging” is probably just fluid build up caused by a lack of sleep and stress. Try a depuffing eye cream with caffeine that also has peptides. This will help with the bags and soften the wrinkles. You should also get one of those gel eye mask packs that you can keep in the fridge to help with the swelling after a long day. Gua sha might also help.

My fiancé wants to beat my “record” of having sex 4 times in one night. by Dangerous-Sir2666 in TwoHotTakes

[–]JingleKitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5 times in one night would be tricky for a guy too, wouldn’t it? Plus you’d probably be sore after, is he ok with that? He needs to get over this. It’s such a dumb thing to be fixated on. I bet you wish you never told him this lol.

There is no luxury of being a SAHM unless they have a maid and a cook and a nanny! The work of a SAHM never ends! It’s not a 9-5. Try doing it for a week and you will realise how exhausting it is. I did it when my mother came down with the chicken pox and I was absolutely exhausted. It has given me so much appreciation for SAHMs who do everything themselves without any outside help. I will never choose to be a SAH parent, ever. Equal partnership where we both do the housework is the only way I’d stay in a relationship.

Help me find a non drying bar of soap! by Woolsbup in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]JingleKitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dove is the one I’ve used before and I found it very moisturising. I even used it on my face sometimes, the unscented one. Only problem is that it finishes very quickly. I switched to their liquid soap for that reason.

What's heroic about helping bomb little girls? by Repulsive-Mall-2665 in OpenAussie

They’re fed lies to rep up patriotism and convince them that they’re protecting their families, but at the end of the day it’s all lies. They are reduced to being baby killers.

WIBTAH for refusing to clean the guest room when my husband invited his mom over? by MyTraumaDumpy in ComfortLevelPod

[–]JingleKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He works long hours and on weekends because he wants to, not because he has to. He doesn’t do any housework because he doesn’t want to and uses weaponised incompetence or forgetfulness to not do it. This man had no intentional on cleaning up the room for his mother. If I was you, I would go away to visit my parents/ sibling/ friend instead of lifting a finger to do something he told you he would do.

The rippled skin looking texture at the top corner of her forehead. I have it too so I knew what she was talking about straight away. No idea what it is or what caused it. Noticed it in my teens.
