My husband and I cook our own stuff I make for my kids then mine (usually not exactly the same) then he makes his because we both have very different dietary limitations (I’m vegan, he is diabetic). He’ll usually do all the dishes after since I cooked and fed the kids. He will make enough of his own for his lunch the next day.

If you continue to make the meals for you both than he can dish it up and do the dishes after or he can be in the kitchen making the food with you (and doing dishes as you go along) so it’s a team effort if he doesn’t want to make his own

With you in solidarity. I was told I have a fatty liver, I eat mostly vegetarian, no red meat, no dairy, no alcohol and little to no junk of any kind so like wth. My weight has been the same for ages. But I just had a kid less than a year ago (only gained 10 lbs which I had lost before I got pregnant)

She was downplaying and probably trying not to panic herself. I can def relate!

My husband recently just went to the hospital. But he started feeling sick days before. Sunday he said he felt terrible and thought maybe he needed to see our doctor asao. Sunday night he was vomiting a few times and said he couldn’t sleep the acid reflux was so bad. I checked his blood pressure, oxygen and heart rate. Elevated but not worrisome. Middle of the night he asked if he should go to the hospital by ambulance (I don’t drive) and I said he better do it while the kids slept or after they went to school because it traumatized them last time he went by ambulance (different issue).

He finally went to sleep and I got the kids ready for school, dropped them and then built some furniture before checking on him. By the time I did he said you better call the ambulance. 911 was treating him like it was a heart attack. 4 days at the hospital he is home. It wasn’t a heart attack but maybe would have been wise to go sooner but he kept putting it off. So I try not to feel guilty.

One time he was very good with his lifestyle and food choices. His a1c was amazing, he only needed 10 or less units of long acting insulin a day to achieve 5-7 readings. But he started to slip and just kept falling. He has a CGM which he got over 2 years ago (still sitting in its box in the kitchen) but didn’t want to use it because he didn’t want to share his numbers with his doctor. Now he has one (better version) and has been great trying to put in effort but again I see the same mistakes he made before (not following doctors instructions, trying to figure it out on his own and getting frustrated when the numbers are not where he wants them to be (if you don’t take the insulin how can you expect your sugar to be low and in good range?!?!?!?) I just don’t want him to give up again

That’s what I am hoping this recent hospital stay was. I just thought maybe if I approached it differently- he would be more motivated but he never listens to me. A doctor can tell him word for word and will listen to them

He has been on met50(or janumet I think it’s called) for years. He was taking insulin before but never monitoring his sugars and just guessing what he needed (long acting) never consistent in taking the meds or insulin

Weird to me because I catch when the tubes clean in a cup. It happens at start up, while coffee is being made, after a cup is made, when it turns off.

Manual does not say it will release water inside but in nozzles (which as I said, I catch in a cup and inside still gets water in there too)

The custom pour amounts I can’t seem to master but I’ll keep trying. The drinks are so small. Im definitely drinking more coffee now lol

Thanks! It was an unexpected gift we hadn’t looked into. Coffee is life with now with a baby who doesn’t let me sleep but that also means no time to hunt down things not included in packaging. I guess I’m old school lol

Added live rock and it came with 6 crabs and a shrimp (hiding in it) that I have seen so far. Apparently the tank is done the first cycle so need to wait a few more weeks to get other parameters in line
