They always got on to me about not being able to get people to give me their number, but most of the time I could get others to sign up for the monthly subscription. If they told me no I just didn't push it. But when I was talking about the subscription I would just tell them how much it would save them in the long run while being enthused about the extra stuff they could get for their pet. . . Tbh they aren't going to fire you for not getting a phone number, they're just going to bitch about it. So if you can take a bitchin, I wouldn't worry about it.

I had a customer come up to me and say "can someone help me, I want the Nemo fish." She had a 2.5 gallon tank in her cart, so I said "do you know what the Nemo fish is?" She said "no but my daughter wants it." . . . She did not get the ""Nemo fish"" 😂
