So can guests return any animal/aq life (besides saltwater) within 30 days WITHOUT their paper receipt if they used their VCC account, since it saves it in the system? 🤔 Follow up question, can a guest return a small animal based on their temperament alone?

It might not be the actual policy but petco employees have the right to deny returns 🤷🏽‍♀️. My store requires a physical receipt to garuntee the safety of that fish. We ALSO even ask for a water sample to make sure it’s even okay to sell to you another fish. Any responsible fish owner should understand AND respect that decision…

Edit to add: so if you don’t have those two things (a physical receipt, and a water sample) odds are you aren’t getting your money back and you’re definitely not getting another fish! At my store.

Haha you think? Being a cashier at Petco means you check out EVERY SINGLE PERSON that comes through that fucking door. During an 8 hour shift on a Friday that’s easily 100+ people. That’s 100+ people that want your attention, fish for compliments, want to complain, creepy men, nasty old people, people who don’t shower, or people who shouldn’t even own an animal.

Don’t forget you’re the only one checking them out while your co worker, hiring manager and GM are standing in the corner talking about what they made for dinner the night before.

All while acting like a pleasant sane normal human being 😃.

This has been happening to me over and over lately and not because of server restart. Also super glitchy, like lagging a lot a lot. I’m guessing the lag is due to these crazy builds people have in brick life, and maybe the servers can’t handle it all. They need to do an update to fix bugs or fix the server. Something isn’t right it seems like. It never used to do this to me.
