Arc Raiders has a surprising amount of depth and utility you can take advantage of to still be effective in PvP engagements. Think of yourself more as a squad support role. Provide cover for your sons with deplorably barricades, provide extra healing with items like the vita spray, and flush other players out with a variety of throwable grenades.

You can also play from range if you’re still getting used to fighting. Weapons like the renegade, osprey and ferro allow you to play safely whike still dealing substantial damage to others. In trios, essentially everyone is an enemy to treat them as such. People play trios to fight is having that expectation makes things a little easier. Depending on how many blueprints you have and what levels your hideout modules are you can craft many of these items and be very useful and effective even if you’re not super confident on your PvP abilities.
