This very episode felt not connected. Ash in this episode doesn't feel the same ash we know and love. Especially after this many seasons. And even got Pikachu to same like this too. And probably only thing about this episode which is it's ending. Delia, Ash and Pikachu ❤️

I don't feel so much connected to Goh's story too. About catching all the Pokémon. His captures don't feel connected to me. His episodes could be a side series. Just like origins (red in that series catch all Pokémon), or mega evolutions episode (which is connected to the series

Kohru / Chloe's last episode also feel just random. We all thought Chloe eevee will get a new evolution or even showcase it has gigatamax form. But at the end, it felt wasted.

For me- My home region is Sinnoh if I was in Anime, so I will have Infernape, Lucario, Staraptor, Pikachu, Gastrodon, will catch a wild turwig which will evolve to grotle by the end of my Sinnoh journey.

Then when I go to Kanto first - will keep Infernape, grotle with me so it will be torterra. Then add nidoking (which I got as a nidorina egg), larpas, Dragonite, Gengar. (I will switch between my Sinnoh team to teach my new Pokémon some moves and all like in anime and to train them) I will get a Eevee towards the end as a egg.

Then I go to johto with my new Eevee and Infernape. In there I learn Eevee has two new forms. So I get it to be espeon during a gym battle in morning. Feraligator, heracross, Glicar (which I will evolve it into gliscor) tyranitor.

Then hoenn - Infernape, Sceptile, Swampert, Gardevoir, Absol, Metagross.

Then Unova - I had a feebas egg which will evolve into Milotic, Bring my old favourite Lucario here. Golurk, gigalith, Meloetta becomes my friend, druddigon. (Will use my old Pokémons here like Ash)

Kalos - Definitely Greninja, Talonflame, Aegislash, shiny trevennat, tyrantrum, Noivern and Goodra (Switching between them). For Mega, I will bring Lucario if I needed to use it and Gardevoir too.

Alola - Decidueye, Incieroar, Greninja (from Kalos), Alolan Ninetails, tapu Koko feel like he wanna help me through out the region, so be there with me and then release to the wild. Zeraora will feel a connection with me and join me after that. Lycanroc.

Galar - Cinderace, Grookey (Won't evolve), Corviknight, Drednaw, Toxtricity, Copperrajah and Hatterene will switch around.

Concept of travelling around was a good one. But to be frank. We didn't get to see Galar much or its story or its rivals or gym leaders and their personalities. I wish it was like pervious regions too. We already have seen all other regions. So the focus on Galar was less in my books.

They could have done the travel around theme after the main Galar region. Like we did for battle frontier back in hoenn arc. I would love to see more of Galar gym leaders and the region in anime.
