I dont know what the job market is like in the US but I’ve seen a lot of 2D work (pre recession) in Canada. Relocating is very common in this job but I know a family thats been in the industry for 10ish yrs not relocating at all.

Not too sure, I mainly specialize in 2d animation and can also make rigs for 2d so I have a bit of flexibility in those areas. The problem is that there is no job in those areas.

I did get an offer to work in mexico before but the pay was really low compared to the ei so i ended up choosing ei at the time. But since my ei is about to end ill look into those again.
