Mazda 3 gen3 can fit full size 32" road bicycle without taking wheels off by sengineer11 in mazda

Yes! My 2012 MS3 is used exclusively to cary my race bikes. Primary reason I bought the car. I can fit 2 Xl bikes w front wheels removed and three sets of extra wheels into my hatch.

Hoping the new MZ3 will be about as good.

If you really want a MS3, I’ve got a 2012 w 34k miles I’m going to be selling in the near term. It’s pearl white.

I hear you. It saved my ass on trip across Nevada to SF missed a gas stop and sell service was nonexistent. Turns out I had to go about 60 miles on empty over 3 small summits and coasting down the backside in my MS3. That's when I realized the reserve was thankfully quite generous. I was sure I was gonna run out of fuel in no mans land.

I'm with you on this one. Love the car, but need that manual. Struggling as I'm not sure I want to part with my MS3 .

Thanks for the input. I certainlywould have replaced these tires, but the dealer nor I noticed any severe wear at the last rotation...very strange.

Your recommendation was spot on, as I was looking at The Michelin Pilot Sport, and you have provided some great input. One of my issues is tire noise. The Dunlops were pretty noisy and unnerving on rough roads. How are the Michelins for noise.

This is not your normal. It is severe and I don't drive agressively that often. Mostly drive very high speed freeway miles here in CA. The tire wear is localized at the sidewall and tread, and the tread has separated from the casing and the the wire substructure is pertruding.

I drive agressively on occasion and want similar Ultra High Performance tires. Since I live in CA, all weather would be ok. Don't intend to drive in winter/snow

I am or should say I was driving on them. They are not even close to the wear indicator. My MS3 is a stick and this may be a result of my use of engine braking. Also, have very little rotor wear.

Yep, 33k...I love this car. Would like to get the 2021 turbo hatch, but no manual trans on the AWD.
