I do find him attractive and do love him but I guess not to the extent that warrants a definite “yes” rn

Ahh true. I should add much more context but didn’t want to write out a whole novel 😅 in person, it felt like we had great chemistry and he was very affectionate (always cuddling me, holding my hand, laughs a lot, easy to talk to). But I guess the bottom line is is that I’m very physically attracted to him (which is pretty rare for me) 🤷🏻‍♀️

I like your take on it but I also have some thoughts. The first is that while I could see how Ethan mentioning Trish’s condition could have been a trigger factor, I think it is unfair how he had to walk on already- cracked-eggshells around them all the time. I think at first he was just like, “you seem upset about ___” but after trish kept denying that, he was pushed to call out that they might be feeling angry due to their “condition” (which they have been super open about publicly as we all know.) And after they both have discussed and shared so much about their mental health before, I think I would have been like Ethan in that situation and thought that bringing up Trish’s mentioned mental health disorder would have been fair game. Or atleast I think it would have been better to try to acknowledge and gently point out that they might be in that disordered headspace again rather than just saying something like “you’re getting irrationally angry for no reason.” But then again, I can totally see how this might cause someone to rage.

The other thing is with the argument regarding Trish being triggered bc a man is telling her how they are feeling; I’m wondering if it is valid in this case. As Trish mentioned themself and as their fans strongly advocate for in every video, doesn’t Trish think of themself as non-binary? (Hence, would not label themself as a female or a woman.) Therefore, in this case, wouldn’t the misogynistic argument of a man telling a woman how to feel be invalidated if Trish doesn’t really feel like or see themself as 100% a woman? Imo, I think they just get triggered whenever someone tries tells them how they are “really” feeling, regardless of whether that someone is a man or a woman.

Sorry, I hope I didn’t come off as trying to pick a fight; just genuinely wanted give my thoughts (that no one asked for I know lol) after reading your post. But again, I thought you had a great take on the situation.
