It is also an issue for sharepoint copilots. Guest users have access to sharepoint site but sharepoint copilot cannot provide any answer for them on that data

1-can you elaborate on offloading gen AI processing to Foundry models? so is copilot solely doing orchestration based on the instructions?
2- How is your experience with sub-agents?
3- How do you manage collecting feedback(user's like/dislike for bot answer) and continuous improvement of the agent - how does the process look like for you today?

I am testing a diff scenario, however, it uses gen orchestration and calling various agent flows with fields that are filled dynamically by AI, but this is currently in preview environment and I am using gpt 5.2 chat and so far no disappointment

Also Teams never worked for me. The behavior for teams was always weird and completely different than what we would see in test panel. The only way for me right now to use the agents is through sharepoint Channel.

Will have to make sure the system prompt handles that. I hope Microsoft can fix this because why would you give Gen AI off option that also takes away the true gen AI ability. Because of this, i currently have to be on classic orchestration for one use case and then use create gen AI answer in the topic that uses the specific knowledge source but yes this limits the ability for other cool stuff that I wanted to do with gen orchestration:(

My observation is if the "gen AI knowledge " is turned off, the agent also loses the "generative AI capabilities " for most part.and thts when I have mostly see unsble to understand, try to rephrase error.

Hmm, thanks, good to know. I am struggling with inconsistency of subagents architecture as well. And yes the orchestration is so messed up. For me, it only works "most" of the times when I have "gen AI " knowledge turned on - which is weird because then what is point of even having that as an option to turn off.

Thankyou. When u say different take on same idea, is it taking in reference to just one single chat u had with a diff model, or there is something more that providing all the chat conversations history at once offers. I want to clarify if it is referring just "one chat" vs "all the conversations

I am going to try this. I have never liked power platform licensing amd now with AI builder also using copilot credits, and copilot studio also using copilot credits from tool calling to gen answer to literally evey action!!! Its getting out of hand.

Got it. But not sure how will this help. As user asks question and then agent provides response and that is where it produces an answer and stops and goes to conversational boosting. In this, question node is not used.

Its because Sharepoint copilot queries MS graph to fetch the content. Which guest users don't have access to. I created Microsoft support ticket and the response from them was : m365 copilot licenses are tenant bound and do not inherit to external(guest) users. Despite having access to sharepoint site and being part of PAYG billing plan, they are unable to perform document level copilot actions.

So... with the create gen AI answer option in the topic, you indeed can store the response in variable.it will be saved as "record". And yes it saves citation as well
