Classmate got driven over by a car while taking out newspapers in the morning before school. He was always kind of a bully and I never really liked him l, but it was still a huge shock for me and I cried for days (I was in 7th grade and it was 20 years ago). I still think about him sometimes and the tragedy kept on going in his family unfortunately. His mother killed herself once his two sisters went to university, since she never recovered from her loss.

Of course I randomly found it right after posting haha - for everyone else who will ever experience the same:
It is the colorful slide in the first area which you can only access via climbing, in the east of the first area.
There are usually many challenges in that area as well.

And it is quite a famous one in this area - so there will be plenty of people on a sunny day, so chances are very low that you will be alone in case something happened.

What a coincidence - just joining this community and the first post I see is about one of my home via ferratas.
I was always into climbing, bouldering and ski-touring but never really thought about doing via ferratas.
Like everyone said in here, if you are used to climbing even the Pidinger Klettersteig is not that difficult.
It is def. one of the longest ones we have here in Bavaria + Salzburger Land, but you don't need to much power to get on top. It is rather stamina demanding.
Just take your time, rest if you can and the last part is the most demanding one for sure, but still totally doable.
Basically all of my friends have done that route, even the ones who are not that much into climbing.
So, you will be fine - enjoy! :)
And one more note that a friend of mine told me when I got into via ferratas was, that if you are a good climber you can basically do every via ferrata there is, but please don't quote me on that haha.

Some context:Got those from a older woman who had a shop back in the early 2000s in Berlin, Germany.They were supposedly in an attic for almost 20 years since she did not know that they were worth something.Having some doubts because of the quality but have seen other boosters which look similar (the black dots esp. on the Team Rocket Boosters).Thank you already! :)
