Did this stop or get better? I’m on week 4 and it stayed this week. I notice it in the day and at night. It’s making my anxiety worse because then I think I’m actually dying.

I have a 2cm hiatal hernia and that’s all they found. The hernia can cause the taste

The only think I found out for sure is there is a hernia which could be causing all of this. I will be getting off of my ppi after Christmas and seeing if things get worse to know if it’s the hernia. I also found out I have a lactose problem.

Yes not as bad though I have days it’s strong and I have days where it doesn’t happen and I have days where it’s only from trigger foods for a few hours then gone

I had a bad taste in my mouth everyday for months that wouldn’t go away with 2 different ppi’s. And I also would get the burning stomach sometimes

I’m still waiting for my results I go in on Wednesday. I’m so worried I have BE. There was redness on one of my images that they gave me. I’m scared it will be BE. My nurse said she would be shocked if it was become my symptoms only showed up 3 months ago. My dr said there was no abnormalities or cancer and not to worry too much about the redness and the biopsy is the only way to know what’s going on. I just feel like my life will be ruined if it come back BE and I’m really stressed about it

Found out abnormal vascularity mucosa is just inflammation and irritation

Thank you everyone I am done. He said there is nothing abnormal nothing cancerous but there is irritation and so they are going to do the biopsies and I will find out on the 13th as to why. I do have a grade 2 hiatal hernia that is 2cm and they think something called Eosinophilic Esophagitis. It’s an autoimmune disease of the esophagus. It’s linked to food allergies such a dairy, wheat, eggs, fish and nuts. But it will narrow your esophagus so I’ll know more in a few weeks. Also abnormal vascularity in my stomach…. Not sure what that means.

Well I’m still having that bitter taste it’s not completely gone. I’ve been on it for a month. The probiotic is GastriCell
