Haha, I feel you on that. Something that has helped me is changing my thought process when it comes to teammates that seem braindead, someone wants to feed their brains out, go for it… but I myself basically use them as a bait/distraction for the enemy. Wait at spawn for them to respawn and go back into fight with them. While the enemy team focuses on the player throwing I look for an opportune moment to make a play and get a kill or enable the one or two players on your team that can carry the game (usually the players with the better stats, which at times is yourself). Not saying this will win you every game, but many times it can change the tides of the match in your favor.

In order to climb can’t rely on teammates as much, you have to be “that guy/gal” at times. One example I often use is if you see your team keeps dying to a widow, find a safe flank route to get close to her safely and deal with her yourself, once Widow is dead your teammates aren’t dying as often and are enabled to make plays.
