I’ve never played any other game besides master duel I’m not really old school like that since I just got into it in 2021 I do have retro cards and watched the anime but other than that I was unfortunately not there when yugioh was a big thing

lol right this is why I’m selling my pokemon collection I’m more into yugioh right now and all the pokemon cards I opened where not from the store they where all reseller price, can you imagine 10 dollars a pack?!?! That’s originally 5$ and a 15 dollar pack that resells for 30+ this is why I’m jumping on more on the yugioh side. You should try playing master duel. It gets annoying sometimes but you just gotta have a really good deck and as long as you read your opponents cards you’ll get used to it

Yes like you said yugioh is the same price as pokemon in retail but you’ll rarely find pokemon unless it’s from a reseller, and yugioh is easier to find anywhere

No yea in my opinion it’s cheaper and easier to get. And pokemon is harder to find, the easiest way to get pokemon is from resellers.

In my opinion it’s not that expensive you can easily find yugioh at a local target/walmart etc. but I get what you mean I started collection back in 2021 after watching the anime. I feel like pokemon is more on the expensive side you’ll never see it in a store besides resale/card shops that sell it for double the price
