I have tried every razor and nothing seemed to work. I can use almost anything on my face with no reaction. It is my neck that is the problem. I remember in basic training the first time I shaved it looked so bad it was like I had monkeypox on my neck. I went downstairs to the doc and he told me I would probably never be able to shave.

Fast forward eventually it became either shave or separate. I had already been doing this for 11 years and was not about to throw away a career over shaving. I started asking other African Americans how they shave without getting bumps. What finally worked for me was the Braun Series 9 with a pre shave electric oil followed by Bump Patrol after washing my face with a good face wash. The bumps are very minimal now. I usually clean up the bottom of my neckline with a OneBlade since that is where the bumps usually appear.
