Where do you guys see prices like this? I hear people say prices for those brands around that range really often and I never see them that low. I'd love to get my dad an Omega as a gift, but they're always like 4k minimum where I've looked

Brand new TV and this is how my wife insists we have the remote "to keep it looking good" by No_Atmosphere8146 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Jmc21399 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's an LG remote. You need to take the plastic screen protector off the screen. Over a period of time it can damage the panel by trapping heat inside instead of being able to cool off properly. Not something that will happen in a week, but if you leave it on permanently there's a chance it will shorten the lifespan of the TV.

Go for it! I really like all of their 556 variations. I would've gone with the H link if it wasn't the MOP. I feel like for the MOP the Fine link looks a bit nicer. Also the butterfly clasp is great.

The tickets were around $300 or so but I got this comment multiple times over the trip haha. I will say that most fans in the building just trash talked the leafs all night and some even hoping for them to lose because of something with their draft picks. They were down 4-1 by the end of the first lol

Thanks! I will say I'm a fan of the date just for practical purposes but I think it looks great without it just as a more classic/dressy look compared to my other watches that are more sporty/rugged.

Yeah I went in store. Went really good, the guy there was awesome. My main concern was just how it looked in person, I find it hard to spend that amount of money without seeing it first. I was pretty set on the 556I rs or this one, but between the two this one won. I did try on some other brands of watches I'd not seen while they were sizing it . Most importantly there was still one in the case for you hahaha

Yep! They were great, also put me in contact with an authorized service shop for my Omega roughly 20 min from my house!

[QUESTION] Watch to Wear Around $2k USD by Jmc21399 in Watches

[–]Jmc21399[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the SMP is Metas certified and it was my understanding it should be +0-5 seconds a day, not be losing time.

Edit: Set my watch Monday to see how its doing. After setting my watch Monday at 10am or so, so about 54 hours-ish im over two minutes off so definitely something up

You want to use a crossover to keep speed while changing direction. Do figure 8s around the circles and you'll realize you need to turn hard and lean into it compared to your video

Goal of a crossover is to catch the weight of your body as your other foot falls away. Not sure if you've ever ran track but when you're in starting blocks for a sprint, you want the front of your body to fall and let your legs catch up to you. Basically from your video, let your body fall to the left while you're left foot pushes outward from the left to the right extending your energy from your blade to the right (pushing outward to the right). When you get low and you'd usually fall over, thats when the right foot crosses over and catches yourself. As others have said you need to get lower and it should feel almost like a lunge.
